Here's a simple step-by-step guide on how to measure head circumference
Gather materials: You'll need a flexible measuring tape and a pen and paper to record measurements.
Prepare the hair: If you have long hair, tie it back in a low ponytail or braid.
Locate the starting point: Find the hairline at the centre of the forehead.
Position the tape: Place the beginning of the measuring tape at this point.
Wrap around the head: Guide the tape around the head, keeping it just above the ears and across the back of the head at the widest part (occipital bone).
Complete the circle: Bring the tape back to meet the starting point at the forehead.
Read the measurement: Note the point where the tape meets itself. This is your head circumference.
Record the result: Write down the measurement in inches or centimetres.
Double-check: Repeat the process to ensure accuracy.
Remember to keep the measuring tape snug but not too tight for an accurate measurement.
